While reporting requirements vary depending on where and how you became hurt, the process involved in getting back to work is largely the same.

Process to Return to Work

Remember that injuries can come in all forms when determining whether or not you are able to perform your job duties in a safety critical work environment.  CP expects you to report to work well rested, and in good physical AND mental shape to operate their trains, so injury does not simply apply to sprains and strains, but also equally to your mental and emotional state as well.  It is crucial that you document everything you can at every step in the process.  You are the ultimate judge of your own condition, no-one else.
