When you are required to Run Long, your trip will fall
into one of the following four categories:
1. RUNNING
LONG LIGHT ENGINES & LIFTING TRAIN AT THE START OF YOUR TOUR OF DUTY:
Use only the “Start RL” portion of the ticket.
1. Enter run miles from the IT to the ECCP
in the Start RL RM Field 2. Enter run miles from the ECCP to the IT OMTS in the other
Start RLRM field. (CMA will calculate and pay the greater of run miles or time for this
portion.) 3. START OMTS2 DEPT is the dept time from the initial terminal with
light engines 4. ARR TURN is arrival time at turn point with light engines. 5.
DEPT TURN” is the dept time at the turn point after the train is
lifted. 6. OMTS2 ARR is the arrival time back at the IT 7. DOMTS is the dept time back at the IT.
You may not submit an EC for lifting your train.
